    Personal Trainer & Massage Therapist

    Always willing to give anything a go, I began my "second" life participating in Triathons. Such a challenging and rewarding sport filled with wonderful supportive people.

     

    Local fun runs, half marathons, half ironman, adventure races - all to be enjoyed. I then focussed on cycling, competing in local and interstate road events.

     

    After realising getting fit and motivated changed my life, I decided to help others do the same and studied to become a qualified personal trainer. Learning to massage seemed the next step so after lots of study and practise I am now a  qualified Massage Therapist.

    Trained by Vincent Leo of Australian College of Natural Health, and attained Cert IV in Massage Therapy Practice -Swedish Body Massage, I can offer you a rejuvenating relaxing massage in the privacy of my home. Complete with hot towels, aromatic essential oils, each massage lasts an enjoyable 60 minutes. So reduce your stress levels and improve your circulation enjoy a full body massage for only $50

     

    Or for the sports person, a deep tissue Musculo-Skeletal Alignment massage will loosen up tight joints and muscles. As well as increasing your circulation,and reducing/ eliminating knots, this massage will have you feeling taller and supple. Ideal before and after race events.

    Benefits of Remedial Massage:
    In Remedial Massage the Therapist is trained to perform a treatment using not only observation and assessment skills but also tactile feeling hands skills to direct the individual treatment for a client. Remedial Massage uses specific techniques to stretch and lengthen connective tissue and muscles, reduces pain and discomfort, bringing wellness and a sense of relaxation and mobility to the client.
    One of the primary goals of Remedial Massage is to speed venous blood return from the extremities (arms and legs). Remedial Massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissue of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes. It improves circulation and stretches the ligaments and tendons, keeping them subtle and young. Remedial Massage also stimulates the skin and nervous system. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical.

    In the privacy in my well equipped personal gym, we will work together to design a personalised training program that matches your objectives, takes into account your medical history, and includes exercises you enjoy. I can help set and attain personal goals whether it's your first fun run, cycle challenge, rowing event or even triathlon.

    Your training session will last one hour, and compromise of:

     

    • A warm up to mobilise the joints and prepare your body for the workout.
    • A fitness workout to push you to your limits and show you what you are capable of.
    • A structured workout programme tailored to you to work through and progress your fitness.
    • Motivation to kick start you in a new healthy lifestyle.
    • Diet advice to make sure you are eating the right foods to achieve your goals.
    • A cool down and stretch at the end of the workout to help you recover.

    WHAT IS SHE RIDES?

    Make riding part of your life with She Rides

     

    She Rides is a suite of introductory riding programs that focuses on building fitness, developing skills and creating a social riding community of women.

    Delivered as a series of weekly sessions over an 8-week period, She Rides will provide you with the skills, confidence and social connection with other like-minded women to ride regularly. Whether you want to be confident to ride on shared paths and in traffic situations or get out into the bush on a mountain bike, She Rides has a program for you!

    All She Rides programs are delivered by accredited cycling coaches/teachers or mountain bike coaches who are qualified, enthusiastic and passionate about supporting you to make riding a part of your everyday life.
